As a certified training partner of the VDI we offer a qualification program to become a "Lean-Construction expert according to VDI 2553'.

A holistic approach to the planning and execution of construction projects enables the quality of buildings to be improved and prevents unnecessary consumption of resources. The term "Lean Construction" describes a tried-and-tested approach to the more economical management of construction projects. Lean Construction is thus the adaptation of Lean management, which has long been practiced in the automotive industry, for example, to the construction industry. Together with the VDI, as a certified training partner, we offer a qualification program to become a "Lean-Construction expert according to VDI 2553".

Lean Construction Training and certification according to VDI 2553

The LC Expert qualification is aimed at specialists and managers as well as optimization officers from construction-related sectors such as building owners, architects, project developers, engineering offices, construction companies or construction suppliers.
Another target group are people who should initiate the implementation of Lean Construction in their own working environment in the future, as well as people who already work with Lean Construction and want to directly use the effective application of different methods.
A high level of self-motivation on the part of the participant and support from within the company for exercises and project tasks are recommended as prerequisites. The necessary freedom in the work environment to complete the planned training blocks within two years should be given.
Professional requirements for participation in the qualification are either
- Completed university studies or
- Master craftsman or technician examination or
- Proof of ten years of professional experience in the construction sector.

- Basic principles of lean project management
- Project and process analysis, organization and control of projects in planning and execution according to Lean Construction principles
- Innovative approaches to project management
- Presentation and training of essential methods: Overall Process Analysis, Value Stream Analysis, Waste Walk, Last Planner System, Takt Planning & Control, Agile Design Management / Scrum
- Digitization of project management (digitization strategy and software selection)
- Lean Leadership: project management and communication

Lean Construction expert training according to VDI 2553

Courses in Frankfurt am Main, Stuttgart and Hamburg

The VDI Lean Construction training courses are once again offering comprehensive training opportunities this year in spring, summer and fall. The training comprises a combination of classroom and online formats over a period of 12 weeks.

The course is divided into three attendance blocks, which are supplemented by supervised practical projects in online format. Some of the face-to-face events are hybrid in order to ensure maximum flexibility for participants.

The participation fee is EUR 5,130 net and includes professional support, official VDI training material, additional practical documents, refreshments during the events, a certificate of participation and access to the exclusive participant forum for the exchange of best practices.
